Following are instructions for enabling JavaScript on several common browsers:
Internet Explorer 6, 7, 8 and 11
- Select Internet Options from the Tools menu.
- In the Internet Options dialogue box, select the Security tab.
- Click the Custom Level button at the bottom. The Security Settings dialogue box will appear.
- Under the Scripting category (near the bottom of the list), enable each of the options.
- Click OK.
- A Warning dialogue box will pop up. Click Yes.
- Click OK to close the Internet Options dialogue box.
- Refresh your browser.
FireFox
- Select Options from the Tools menu. (Mac users: Select Preferences from the Firefox menu.)
- The Options dialogue box will appear. Click the Content menu icon.
- Checkmark the box next to Enable JavaScript.
- Click OK to close the Options dialogue box. (Mac users: Close the dialogue box.)
- Refresh your browser.
Safari
- Select Preferences from the Safari menu. (Windows users: Select Preferences from the Edit menu.)
- A dialogue box will appear. Click the Security menu icon.
- Checkmark the box next to Enable Javascript.
- Close the dialogue box.
- Refresh your browser.
Google Chrome
Google Chrome has JavaScript enabled by default (with no conventional means of disabling it).
Opera 9, 10
- Hit the F12 button on your keyboard.
- A dialogue box with various options will appear. Click the option Enable JavaScript.
- Refresh your browser.
