In addition to the 2017 annual updates, changes were made to Policy 01-04, Parts I and II - Investment Policy, Policy 04-07, Addendum A - Clothing Allowance and Policy 04-10, Part II, Application 3 and Addendum B – Housekeeping Allowance.

WCB is proposing changes to cost relief for concurrent conditions. Review the summary and draft policies.
The draft policies will be open for comment until March 9, 2017.

Section 6 of the Workers' Compensation Act (WCA) gives the Board of Directors the mandate to determine policy. The WCA, Regulation and policy provide the decision-making framework on entitlements and benefits for injured workers and on the responsibilities of employers.

Orders of the Board of Directors are required as stated in legislation for various circumstances, including cost of living adjustments (COLA), maximum insurable earnings (MIE), payments of interest and travel allowances.
