WCB’s Board of Directors is representative of the interests of workers, employers and Alberta’s general public. This ensures our board is informed by, and considerate of, the perspectives of key stakeholders in the workers’ compensation system. Each member brings unique insight and diverse experience to their role, and together the board makes sure we are true to our mandate and deliver on our commitments.
Accountable to the Minister of Jobs, Economy and Trade, our board provides guidance to our executive leadership team and ensures sound strategic direction.
Board members support the success of the workers’ compensation system through their oversight work on standing committees focused on auditing, financial management, policy, human resources and governance.
