Annual charity golf tournament
On June 22, 2011 sponsors of the tournament at the Links of GlenEagles golf course in Cochrane, Alberta, raised $62,000 for the Calgary Firefighters Burn Treatment Society. The society directly supports the Foothills Hospital Burn Unit in Calgary by purchasing specialized equipment and training not covered by health care to treat and care for the most severe burn injuries.

2012 charity golf tourament
The WCB annual charity tournament alternates between Southern and Northern Alberta. Next year’s event will be held in Edmonton on Monday, June 18 at the Edmonton Country Club. Mark your calendars and check the WCB website in late February for details.
