You can pay your WCB premium using your personal computer or telephone through an authorized financial institution, trust company or credit union in Canada. This option is set up directly with your bank – you just need to select WCB-Alberta as the payee.
You can pay your WCB premium at any financial institution in Canada, but you must include the tear-off stub from the first page of your invoice.
NOTE: Please allow five business days for your payment to be credited to your WCB account.
A pre-addressed envelope is included with each invoice that has a balance owing. Enclose the tear-off stub from the first page of your invoice with your cheque or money order. If you do not have the invoice stub, please ensure your WCB account number is written on your cheque or money order.
Please send your payment to our premium payments mailbox.
You can pay by cash, cheque, money order, or debit card in person at either of the Edmonton or Calgary WCB-Alberta locations. An after-hours slot is located at each office. If paying after-hours, please use an envelope and include your WCB account number.
WCB-Alberta minimum premium is $200. The minimum premium covers the costs to administer a WCB account, and contributes toward covering employer claims cost. For more information please reference our Minimum premium fact sheet (pdf, 221KB)
