Open or reopen your WCB account

Fill in the information and hit submit. You will receive a confirmation number for your records. Remember, do not apply for a WCB account unless you employ workers in Alberta or are applying for personal coverage as an owner, partner or director. Our service representatives will contact you within 3-5 business days.

Obtain a clearance certificate

Request and receive clearance certificates when you need them. Clearance certificates state whether a WCB account is in good standing.

File your annual return

Report earnings paid to your worker for the previous year and provide an estimate of earnings to be paid to your workers for the current year. This information is vital to ensure the correct WCB coverage is in place. Find out more about the annual return.

Note: You will need an individual PIN number to file your annual return each year. This will be sent to you in December if you have an open account with WCB-Alberta
