Open or reopen your WCB account

Fill in the information and hit submit. Remember, do not apply for a WCB account unless you employ workers in Alberta or are applying for personal coverage as an owner, partner or director. Our service representatives will contact you between 3-5 business days.

Maintain/update your WCB account instantly

File your annual return

Report earnings paid to your worker for the previous year and provide an estimate of earnings to be paid to your workers for the current year. This information is vital to ensure the correct WCB coverage is in place. Find out more about the Annual Return.

Obtain a clearance certificate

Request and receive clearance certificates when you need them; one-time requests or on an ongoing basis. Clearance certificates state whether a WCB account is in good standing.
